Construction Instruction: The Best in Building Science

We're always pursuing the latest and greatest construction techniques, and we often bring technical experts to job sites and into the classroom to teach our crews.

Loudermilk Homes, Parksite and Phoenix Systems recently partnered to host professional engineer Gord Cooke of Construction Instruction to discuss the best techniques and materials for critical elements such as framing, roofing, window flashing, waterproofing systems, and much more.

Gord spent a day and a half teaching our team, with a mix of class instruction and hands-on experience in the field to show us sophisticated techniques and best practices for building a better home.

We also talked about sustainability, and how a well-constructed home built with superior products can withstand the elements and the test of time

Our team worked hard, and played hard — with some delicious meals and laughter along the way.
