Building homes is our craft; strengthening our communities is our calling. From mountain trails to families in need, our team gives time, skill, and heart to the places we call home.
At Loudermilk Homes, we believe excellence should be recognized — and that it should make a difference. Each quarter we honor one outstanding team member through our Employee of the Quarter program, chosen for embodying the values, work ethic, and standards that define our culture. The honoree selects a charity close to their heart, and we make a donation in their name — celebrating our people while giving back to the communities we serve. A few of the charities chosen by recent honorees:
Housing
HomeAid Atlanta is a nonprofit that partners with builders, trades, and volunteers to construct, renovate, and maintain housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness across Greater Atlanta.
Loudermilk Homes is proud to support HomeAid through volunteer build days and community improvement projects — using our expertise and teamwork to help create safe, functional, and uplifting spaces for those in need.
Mentoring
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Western North Carolina connects children facing adversity with caring adult mentors, building relationships that help young people reach their full potential through one-to-one mentoring. As Loudermilk Homes' primary charitable partner in the Cashiers area, we are proud to support their mission of creating and supporting mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth in our community.
Conservation
Friends of Panthertown is a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and maintaining Panthertown Valley, a 6,300-acre backcountry recreation area in Western North Carolina's Nantahala National Forest.
Our team partners with Friends of Panthertown to preserve and maintain local trails in Cashiers, NC — pruning overgrown branches, clearing pathways, and improving trail drainage. We're proud to support their mission of conservation, stewardship, and sustainable recreation.
Health
Loudermilk Homes and Loudermilk Designs volunteer with the Fresh Food Cart program organized by Grady Hospital and the Grady Health Foundation.
With support from the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Bombas, the Fresh Food Cart distributes fresh vegetables, fruit, and free socks to patients of Grady's health clinics.
The program has distributed more than 450,000 pounds of food through 10,000 patient visits as part of the Food as Medicine Partnership. Patients receive 20 pounds of fresh produce once or twice per month to support healthier diets and better access to nutrient-rich food.
Community
Loudermilk Homes is humbled and honored to sponsor Hands On Atlanta.
Our team volunteers on food drives and food distribution projects — unpacking pallets of donated food and assembling bags for families in need. We also help with school support and e-learning projects throughout the year.
We're glad to share our construction and maintenance expertise for community beautification projects — painting buildings, improving and maintaining playground equipment, and clearing trash and debris.
Global Outreach
Loudermilk Homes is proud to join Youth With A Mission in support of their Homes of Hope program, building houses for families living in poverty. Two homes were built in three days, touching the lives of everyone involved.
Recipient families are carefully selected by the Homes of Hope staff and genuinely need a place to live — many raising their children in cardboard boxes or abandoned cars. The project brings faith, hope, and encouragement to their communities, and inspires every one of us.
The legacy we build is measured not only in homes, but in the communities we're proud to call our own. Loudermilk Homes is also a proud sponsor of Boots and Bourbon.
