Shower Waterproofing
Water damage behind tile is one of the most expensive, most disruptive, and most entirely preventable problems in residential construction. It typically does not appear until years after move-in, long after the builder has moved on and the warranty conversation has become more complicated than it should be. By that point, the remediation involves removing finished surfaces, treating mold, and rebuilding what should have been waterproofed correctly the first time. Every Loudermilk shower assembly uses the Schluter KERDI bonded waterproofing membrane system rather than felt paper and optimism. Every shower pan is flood-tested for a minimum of 24 hours before a single tile is installed, and the results are documented on every project. We eliminate the problem before it starts and we keep the records to prove the work was done.
