We’re pleased to announce that Loudermilk Homes is expanding into western North Carolina to meet the needs of discerning homebuyers.

Loudermilk Homes is designing and developing homes in several communities in the Highlands Cashiers Plateau on the western side of North Carolina. This is our first major expansion outside of the metro Atlanta region as we serves clients across the Southeast who want primary residences or second homes in the plateau area of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Saratay Falls in Cashiers features just 20 private estate lots, old-growth trees, hiking trails, a creek and a 40-foot natural waterfall that gives the community its name. Prices start in the $1.8 million range. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Meadows Mountain Realty represents the Saratay Falls community, as well as the Bear Mor development that will offer homes in the $2.2 to $2.5 million range.

Separately, Loudermilk Homes will build a private enclave with just four homes in the Cedar Hill neighborhood. The custom luxury homes will be built on estate lots that have more than 20 acres of land each and offer stunning mountain views, with prices starting in the $3.9 million range. Silver Creek Real Estate Group represents the Cedar Hill community.

Loudermilk Homes is also in the early planning stages for several other projects in the Cashiers and Highlands area.

“Cashiers and Highlands are hidden gems that provide a welcome respite to families in Georgia, Florida and other Southeastern states, and we are excited to bring our quality craftsmanship and disciplined construction process to homebuyers who are looking for tranquility in the mountains,” said Sherwin Loudermilk, Founder and President of Loudermilk Homes.

Loudermilk Homes continues to work closely with the design professionals at sister company Loudermilk Designs, which provides luxury interior design services to create bespoke spaces that people love to live in.
